I’m looking for a bike that I can grow with, and I’ve been eyeing two Canyon Endurace CF 7 Di2 models.
The first option is the $2349 model, which is a 2023 return with slight imperfections, alloy wheels, and a light blue color (I wish it was stealth instead). It was a popular choice a couple of years ago when it was priced at $2699, so it feels like a good deal.
The second option is the $3699 model, which comes with carbon wheels. Considering the wheels alone are worth about $2000, the frame and Di2 105 groupset come out to just $1700, making it feel like a steal.
I’m leaning towards the $2349 option, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Is it worth the extra $1300 for the carbon wheels, integrated carbon cockpit, newer model, and unused condition, or would I be better off with the 2023 return? I’m looking for something that will serve me well as I progress.
Also, looking for USA based referral code!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Me personally, the colour and look of the bike is very important. You don’t buy an ugly car because it is reliable. Especially if you are going to keep it in the long run, everytime you look at the bike you feel the urge to take it for a ride.
That said, you can pick up very good Elite carbon wheelset for around $400 (if i got the pound to dollar conversion right) if you are looking to buy the used bike, upgrade and still have cash for further upgrades like power meter perhaps.
