Good evening,

I am looking at this bike tomorrow and was wondering what a decent price (ball park) would be (UK based)? And also what year would it be from?

Specialized S-Works venge vias (is it?) as there's no PM which I thought they had.

Royal CL64s wheelset running Dura Ace 9000 (less crankset).

I think the bike has been well looked after providing this is a recent picture but that the seller has misdescribed it, intentionally or not doesn't matter really (but would support a below price offer).

TIA

When that was new – bikes didn’t get any better.

Now, the rim brakes (In a pain in the arse location) and mechanical gearing really hold it back. I wouldn’t want to pay over £2,000 for it. It’ll still be fast as f***. But none of the quality of life improvements modern bikes now have.

Also probably only get 25mm tires on it.

I can’t see anything on that bike to confirm it’s an S-Works as opposed to a regular Specialized.  I’m pretty sure that in 2013 Specialized were putting “S-Works” on the downtube of all relevant models.

You don’t want to be paying an S-Works premium when you aren’t getting one. I’d be worried they this bike is either counterfeiter or someone is trying to upsell and claim it’s a model that it isn’t.

    Edit

It’s **NOT** an S Works. It’s the  2016 Specialized Venge Pro ViAS.

  3. Unless you want to slap some tt bars on it, this bicycle belongs to a museum and has very little value as a road/race bike.
