Any of y’all recognize this? It’s from 1998-99 or so. It came with my shimano SPD pedals (I thought were ultegra) but the current cleats lock in and give me no float. These don’t do that. But I can’t find a model number to search for and what I have found searching on my own doesn’t look the same.
Any ideas?

They don’t look like any Shimano SPD cleat I have ever seen. The SPD MTB cleat is virtually unchanged since it came out in 1990. For 1 – 2 years the very early road cleats were a similar shape to the MTB but had what looked like 2 small horns either side of the central mounting plate. I am not saying they are not Shimano but if they are I have never seen one like that & I have been using then selling clipless since 91
