I know it may not be technically welcome here, but someone on the trail today called it vintage so I naturally couldn’t wait to post it here. As a steel frame lover I do love this carbon and steel hybrid for a very nimble but comfy ride. It’s the most modern frame in my stable, and I’ve preferred it to the aluminum frames I’ve tried. Perhaps one day I’ll compare it to some slick Ti, but not today.
I bought this LeMond Buenos Aires new in the spring of 2005 with all the money I’d saved from summer jobs. Ultegra-equipped with some 105 sub-ins that I’ll restore at some point. First real bike I ever bought and the only one I’ve held onto. 🎂Happy 20th! Still a spring chicken to me.
