I recently upgraded my drone. I did have a DJI Neo and I wasn't overly worried about it getting damaged/lost due to its relatively low value. However, having now upgrade to a DJI Mini 4 Pro I'm just in a complete panic from the time it goes in the air until its back on my hand. I have to stress, I've flown it once, attached. Will this panic subside, ever?

I'm fairly happy with the footage for a first time but also, I'd like to know if it's easy to improve quickly as I've seen some fantastic footage with this particular drone.

I have the exact same setup. If you haven’t already, you should get DJI refresh. I bought mine secondhand, so I submitted the verification video and got refresh. Already made good use of it when I tested out the auto tracking on my bike, it successfully avoided a tree but in its avoidance maneuver, flew directly into power lines. My new rule is avoiding any power lines and honestly just avoiding any obstacles when I’m setting it up to follow me. If you do that, and you have refresh, you won’t have anything to fear.

  2. Funny, I downgraded from a Mini 3 Pro on my bicycle trips to the Neo in order to save weight/space and to feel less stressed about using it The new Flip seems like a good compromise between the two and may eventually be my next drone.

But to answer your question, yeah, you get used to the risks, esp if you have Refresh.
