It's a 1995 XL Crossroads, I can manage to fit 2.1in tires as long as the side knobs arent intense. I've had this in a light gravel setup, now I'm trying to get a bikepacking setup done for this frame. I train on road, gravel, and even ride the big mountain singletrack with it. Best frame i've ever got, and it was only 50 bucks.

Small diameter steel tubes ride better than any other frame style I have ever ridden. So springy and lively and with fat tires it just gobbles up whatever rough terrain is thrown at it.
I have dreams of doing this (29er) with one of the crossroads step-through frames…grandpa can shred!
