Full rebuild of the bike. The first photo is how it looked from the store before the accident and the next 2 photos are the result of my work. Initially the bike had 27.5 wheels, but later it became 29, because the frame was standard 27.5+.
The bike was bought in 2016 for 100$ in trial-sport (Russian store). A year later I got into an accident and the bike was just lying there. Because I switched to dirtjump and rode a good dmr. After 8 years of riding, I was drawn to calm long trips. And I got fired up with the idea of building on the basis of a mongoose frame to mtb dropbar. At that time, there was little of this and people reacted wildly to it. approximately 2021-2022. As a result, with the correction of the shortcomings of my original assembly, the cost came out to ~ 120k rubles (~ 1000 $ ) from the bike there was only a frame, everything else is completely new.
I could easily buy a ready-made bike for this money, but here it was more of a sporting interest and excitement. To assemble it from scratch myself in parts and according to my needs. Yes, there are some shortcomings in my opinion, but overall I am happy with what I got. The total mileage for 2 years is already about 6-7 thousand kilometers
