I stripped the bike down myself, wire brushed the rust and cleaned everything. Rear wheel replaced and new single speed cog installed(was going to convert to a fixed gear but outside of my current budget) removed the larger gear and retained the original cranks and pedals. Needed a new bottom bracket as well. Been fun to cruise around the neighbourhood with my son on this thing.
