I’m looking into replacing the shift and brake cables and thought I might just replace the freewheel as well.
I’m not super savvy when it comes to bikes, but after some inspection and googling it looks like this is a shimano positron 2. Looking online it says it’s a 5-speed, but I’m counting 6 on my bike.
Does that mean someone replaced the freewheel at some point with the wrong kind? Any suggestions on what I can replace so that it rides and shifts better would be helpful! Thank you.
