Fuck no. I bought a second hand soundwave for 600 yesterday. That money can get you way further. Think you can get a kink whip for that price which is much better. Look for full chromoly, sealed hubs and double wall rims.
Realised it’s AUD after the comment. For that money I’d check the second hand market. People are pretty clued up on here. Post a few bikes you like from marketplace and we can steer you in the right direction.
