Hi everyone, I’m making this post because the chain of my Brémélli keeps on breaking no matter how maintained I keep it.
I use an older Campagnolo Record titanium groupset paired with a KMC 9 speed chain, after checking compatibility between brands.
As you can see, it already broke 1 time, I now ride with 2 quick-links, which is far from ideal, and 2 other links are about to break.
Do you have any idea about what is happening ? I’ll include photos of my cassette and chainrings in case their wear are the problem.
Let me know what you think, thanks guys !

That cassette looks weared down.
How much mileage on the chain and where was is it bought from? Although I am not sure if they counterfeit 9s KMCs but there are a lot of crap quality counterfeit Shimanos in Amazon and chinese shops. Would help to narrow down if it is more likely due to legit chain wear or something else.
Also, are you shifting under heavy pedaling load?
Not sure if those quick links have a rotation orientation but I would double-check that, too. Shimano ones do.
Given that no one here knows how old nor in what condition that chain is in, my only idea is that you should buy a new 9 speed chain.
Are buying the chain from reputable dealers?
Amazon / Aliexpress / eBay are riddled with replica KMC chains that won’t be close to the quality of legit KMC / Shimano chains
I’ve run KMC chains on an older Campy groupset for ages in punishing city riding with no problems – unless you are putting it through hell while riding it I would guess you got a counterfeit chain. The rest of the drivechain looks fine (certainly in better condition that what i was riding).
P.S. that classic Ti campy groupset is super nice 😉
