I bought this used bike and I feel that the rear derailure and the crank are old so it is not comfortable to ride and I think it is better for me to upgrade from 8 speeds to 10 speeds instead of fixing the issue. I need some suggestions how to upgrade without changing the Hub. Please help me guys!

It will take a 10 speed cassette so no worries. 11 speed is where you would need to check if it’s compatible.
8/9/10 cassettes are all the same width, the cogs are just closer together.
Are you going for wider range? I have seen a wide range 8 speed cassette, but there are pretty wide gaps between gears, so that might turn off some folks. Rear shifter would need to be swapped for 10 speed.
