    No

    $400 on a good day

It’s probably mechanically fine but it is old, maybe about 15 years old

10 speed components, looks like Shimano 105

Whomever is currently riding it does not fit it properly, the bars are at an unsafe angle

That could be a bargaining chip for you

    But I’d keep looking

Edit: google tells me it’s a 2006 model and it is probably kitted out with Dura Ace

     But I’d still keep looking

  2. That’s a nearly 20 year old carbon bike. If you pursue the bike, go over the frame with a fine tooth comb. If you see cracks or other damage, walk away. Carbon can last that long, but I personally would not feel great about it even if the frame looked fine.

$550 tops. Full carbon + 10 speed Dura Ace means it was a top end bike back in 2006 and if it’s in good shape that’s plenty of bike for a beginner rider. Lately I’m seeing similar or newer bikes (by a few years) get listed for $350-$400 so I do think there may be better deals out there. Also consider whether a proper road bike is what you want vs a more versatile bike (eg, able to fit wider tires).
