Hi guys! I recently bought a Canyon Aeroad CFR, w a aero seatpost – but the original saddle is too narrow and has a 7×9 profile. I then switched it for my wider Bontrager Aero Elite saddle, w steel rails 7×7 profile that I had on my Trek Domane SL6 w a round seatpost. Not great, but rideable.
Question: should I also change the saddle mount or will the Domane mount damage the Canyon aero seatpost?
