  1. Often the fork won’t compress the last 10mm of the stanchion so while it looks like it’s 180, it is in fact 170mm. I have a pair of Domains that are like this (although mine have a mark 10mm from the top swing “full travel”. I’d stick with the Charger 2.1. It’s decent and only replace it when if it dies.

  2. For the Zebs all the dampers are the same size / lenght. Only the air spring needs to be changed to change travel. You can easly figure out what your current travel is set to by removing all the air from the fork. Then you can cycle the suspension and measure how much travel the fork is acheiving.

    I have a Charger 2.1 on my Zeb and a 3.1 on my Pike. I don’t notice a huge difference between them in terms of on trail support. I certainly wouldn’t pay the 300+$ to swap a 2.1 to a 3.1 imo
