Another glorious day, so another jaunt on the bikes discovering the Island! We head for the Port of Loix, where we discover the ‘M1’ of the Island, before heading into the lovely town of Ars-En-Re…..and our ‘Ars’s’ are well and truly sore after this one!!
[Music] another glorious morning on the elder so we are off and about on the psychopaths again and we are heading to Lua which is just another little village on the island linked by a psychopath so we thought we’d just go and check it out so let’s go here we are entering the village of Lua there we go let’s go have a look so you can definitely tell it’s Saturday today because uh there are lots of people here now at the court at uh Lir um even though there actually isn’t really anything here to be honest so we’re just going to go and cycle around the rest of the point and then we’ll decide what to do from there let’s try and get away far from the Madding crowd because that was very very busy for something that it’s just not very much for there really i think it’s just an ends to a mean on a bike basically go for a bike ride and stop for a minute anyway bizarre oh this is quite nice so at least you get to cycle next to the sea which is quite nice sea on one side and the sand flats on the other around the corner there on your right there is think it might be a heron a big one you reckon so this is as far as you can go on the bicycles so it looks like we’re going to turn around and go back so yeah kind of another little cycle path to nowhere really but hey ho we’re out the sun’s out can’t complain all right let’s turn back around and go back this way follow that bird his little cowboy out on oh wait for me speedy Gonzalez back to the port and then we’ll turn left and see what’s that way wow it’s busy cute little walkway kids coming i’ll stop filming made it over the walkway which was like um well it was like uh rush hour rush out seems we seem to have it right at the wrong time nice time yeah there’s the back of the uh back of the port right let’s go nice now this runway is a bit tight so you have to look ahead I think oh hello yeah that’s not a dork i don’t know what it is oh they’re excited about something don’t know what that’s bonkers yeah they might have a nest you’re right bit tight holy moly holy moly mate is that the M1 actually it’s quite a nice cycle that’s why yeah this is much nicer yeah it’s lovely nice little cycle way yeah oh it’s definitely a Saturday there’s a nice little harbor wind surfing little arbor ah this might be the little beach the little point there’s a little beach oh Bob give me Bob a rest for a minute there’s a little point i think this is the point we were headed for so I think this might be our turnaround point so we are at Plaza so this is the point where we were headed for and we did make it albe it um it was a bit of a trek wasn’t it but bit further than we thought but never mind so we’re soaking in the race for a couple of minutes we’re giving our bums a rest and then we’re going to head back so uh interesting ride today um yeah cycling for cycling sake really I think would be fair to say would you say Birdard yeah but it gets you out and about and it’s a glorious day so it’ll do well the M1 walkway is not quite so busy at the moment because it’s midday it’s 12:00 it’s lunchtime everybody’s disappeared what a surprise i love France everything stops at 12 so this is the little town of Ars Enray and we are heading this way for the little port there we go oh it’s a bit bumpy it’s not good when you’ve been on your bum all day ah look to the sea ah yeah it’s just like a little dyke isn’t it to the sea that way to the town that way to the open sea oh we’re going to go that way not far to go no okay let’s go to the end then let’s have a little daw don’t fall in i’m going to try not to fall in try and go very slow i think we’ve come to the end birded pretty much that’s the end yeah let’s go oh no we’re going to go into town first oh going straight on this takes us right into the center of town yes so let’s go go to the church straight oh we hit the church don’t you yeah into the little bits and have a look around let’s go see so this is on the way lots of restaurants pretty on the key there’s a lovely keyside just there yeah we’ll go down the little church let’s go and have a little look come on then oh yeah it’s very pretty look at that bell little bell tower can you see the bell tower birds that’s cute oh this is the town square yep and the church oh look at that oh that’s awesome sh yeah there is that’s a pretty impressive church that’s a very unusual um steeple [Music] oh dear [Music] are you all bled out Berto i think so right shall we head back to the van well the church is closed i think that’s it yeah it’s dinner time isn’t it it is it’s dinner time let’s go lovely little village ars and Ray um yeah worth a good little wander around lots of shops lots of restaurants lots of little iny outsy little streets very very pretty
