Had the same thing happen. Couldn’t get it to reseat. But it seems to be cosmetic or at best a half-ass seal. I ended up wrapping some electrical tape around the post.

You can loosen the seat clamp and push it back down, it comes out with the seat post (at least on my Ultimate)

It is glued in. You need to reglue it because the clamp for the seat height pushes on a tab at the bottom of that collar. I had mine come loose and eventually tore off and I had to wait two months for a replacement.

Happened the same. Contacted canyon, received a new part for free and they paid the LBS bill
