  1. That first one is not slopestyle. It is 2010 or so xc model which is 120mm xc/trail bike with vey old geo now. Someone tries to make it look like slopestyle but would not attempt any half serious jumps on this.
Also this are 2 very different bikes and very specific so maybe tel us more how you want to use your bike.

  2. i’m not sure how much slopestyle geometry has changed over the years but if there have been big changes i’d say go with the specialized since dirt jumper geo has been pretty consistent over the years

Here’s the thing with older bikes. One of the bike shops near me won’t service a fork older than 2013. Try and find a good new fork that’s got a straight 1 1/8 steerer. Old geometry ? It worked then, it stills works now. I like the NOS 2013 GT Zaskar hardtail I’m riding now. At least it had a tapered head tube I can put any new fork on. I used a 27.5 120mm fork an a 26” frame. WITH a 24” back wheel. It’s now as slack as I like. Like a cross country bike. Good for tight twisty trails I have in my back yard. Oh, and it’s a DIY E-bike with 1,500 watt max power. It will beat a 10K big brand bike uphill no sweat on throttle only. There are older bikes where the headset can be replaced to accept a newer tapered fork. If so for that Specialized, I’d make my dream bike with a 27.5 X 26” mullet.

If you are riding casually then don’t buy either of these bikes. The full suspension bike you pictured is too old and the dirt jumper is a specialized tool.
