In the video LB undertakes a 14km course in the basque country. Setting out from home, he crosses the river Bidouze and climbs up into Biscay were you get good views of the pyrénées mountains. This is also good place to come if you are a cyclist and are looking for hilly terrain and quiet roads.
Check out the route/area on my Strava activity 27th February.

[Music] hello bonjour it’s the legendary ball bag here reporting to you from the Bas country of France it’s gray and cold there’s one thing I dis like more than dogs horses and headwind it’s the cold so just before we head out here’s a quick word from today’s sponsor cat hair dog hair human [Music] hair so today I’ve put on my soy endorphin speed for she used to be white and now we’re off white done about oh 300 km in these good for easy runs good for picking up the pace doing some Tempo work so going over the bridge today which you can see ahead also past the mulang water mill we have a uh place of worship and now we’re going to go up this long Steep Hill which comes too soon [Music] n [Music] I said it was cold but in actual fact once I warmed up not bad at all got an extra layer on today prob I saw 3° I think it’s more like five or six [Music] up up up up that’s I forgot about those dogs they don’t bite this is good thing [Music] you’ll notice that all the houses are white with painted red shoters that is the tradition here occasionally you would have green and white there has to be buas red or buas green which when you go to the DIY store they written on the tin so you can’t go wrong so this is my favorite tree it’s the tree where I usually stop and urinate as a man in my 50s generally need to go to the toilet more often I have had my prostate checked uh if you haven’t I suggest you do so so the other thing I’ve been thinking about recently is my running form been doing these videos and obviously from the footage I can see how I run not very happy at all round shoulders head down looking at the ground trying to make a conscious effort to run taller keep my shoulders back more lean slightly forward pile of steaming [Music] so we’ve nearly completed the circuit I have a choice of either running up cemeter Hill which is steeper but shorter or lonte the BEDA which is [Music] longer and less steep so I think I’m going to go for longer you can see the bridge over there where we started off [Music] you can see The Village Church Spire that’s what we’re aiming [Music] for there he [Music] is here we have it all done for today hopefully see you next time bye for now Ado ciao
