I just went on my first bikepacking trip. It lasted 3 days and it followed the Green Karst Trail loop in Slovenia (~350km and 6000m elevation).

It was a great experience and i learned a lot from it. All my gear was about 18kg which to me seems a lot, but looking back I don't think i would leave any heavier pieces at home next time, because i actually used everything. I guess the next step would be to buy a more lightweight sleep system, but that's not happening for a while.

Even though my gear was heavy it felt really sturdy on the bike so i didn't really feel like I'm dragging that much around 😀 (the MVPs here are definitely ortliebs rack three and the forck packs)
