hi all! thank you all for all the help i received on my previous post. i bought the bike online a week ago and i was patiently waiting for my tracking information (which i never got). went to the mailroom to pick up another package and to my surprise there was the huge brompton box. i even doubted myself for a second and thought someone else in my building must have ordered one too 😅. but here it is. still waiting for some accessories which i’m sure shipped separately. did a short drive to test the gears, brakes, set the saddle angle and seat post height (don’t judge it pls, i’m verrrrry short). but it’s already super fun and everything i expected. i have struggled my entire life to find small sized bikes, it’s so nice finally having a mini bike.

Welcome to the fold!
Very short is ok and also has a lot of advantages!
Get used to riding the bike. Ride slowly at first as the steering feels twitchy in the beginning.
Please please practise the fold and unfold at home where nobody can see you do it. After a couple of times you will be a magician for everyone watching you do that.
Didn’t see the other post so also make sure you get a very good pump and check every single week. You probably will want to test a couple of values to find the sweet spot. The manufacturers min and max PSI is on the sidewall. (sometimes difficult to read). Most prefer 100 PSI at the back, Me as well but around 80 PSI front for me to save my wrists from the bumps.
Now go out and start making adventures. Slowly build up health as the first couple of rides will exhaust you quickly. After a couple of weeks you just want to keep on going.
And … have fun!
I got mine last week. I havent cycled since 10 years, but cycled 60kms last weekend. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you are in for a treat.
