As a specialized fan boy (I ride a tarmac, wear torch and have an Evade and prevail) – they are waaaay too expensive and I’ll never buy them.

The price is a joke. Aesthetically, does nothing for me. The orange strap looks like some “in case of emergency, pull here” safety tag or something.

I think they look great, but my aesthetic issue with Specialized’s lightweight shoes is that the upper is floppy. I am sure it’ll be great, but I didn’t buy the previous version after seeing how the fabric laid on foot.

I bought the S-Works Exo (€500) back then and they are the worst boots I have ever owned.
I also have some S-Works 5, and the S-Works 7 are better than the Exo, but the Shimano S-Phyre for me are unbeatable.

Something for Remco to feel good in when he comes in third in the Tour

I’ve been wearing Lakes for years. 400 is about the max I’ll spend on bike shoes…
