This old frame I’m rescuing has these protrusions along the downtube and drive-side chainstay. I’m assuming they’re related to cable management, as there aren’t any other cable stops here. Anyone idea what kind of solution used this method? Thanks.

My guess is that they were for some specific cable clip. If ‘twer mine, I’d try fabbing something out of a twist of wire.
Pic isn’t great but looks like those are guides for full length housing.
