Hey, I am new to the bmx hobby, I like street riding and have been looking to find a decent price on a good bike. I want to find something that I can learn on and won’t need to upgrade or change for a long time, so I’ve been watching Facebook marketplace to see if I can find a good bike when I stumbled upon this bike which was recently posted. I wanted to get opinions from people who understand more about bmx bikes and could also possibly recommend me bikes, the listing price is in Canadian.

Its a good deal. Rant makes decent budget stuff. I havent tried their forks though. The sunday freeze stem is also budget byt good. The rest is all solid

Not really. I got a similar bike for 350 but I had a stock full chromoly frame. It’s realistically worth about 400-450 imo

  3. No, that is the price of a brand new one out of the box from a variety of different brands in a variety of different colors. Don’t see why you’d get something used

  4. Not a horrible price a little high but not egregiously so. 600CAD is 436USD what I am wondering is where is the chain.. I would just offer around 400USD/550CAD which is a reasonable offer on a build of this quality.

  5. A 48 spoke triple? WTF? No one does those anymore. That back wheel’s gotta be like 15 years old. the triple front too….those are OLD wheels. No way is that thing worth it.

Bad deal. For about $100 more you can get a brand new full crmo bike w sealed bearings. Yeah, it won’t be a “custom” build but atleast you’ll have a warranty and stuff. Many of these aftermarket parts are some combination of old/budget anyway

Not worth even half that. The cranks and sprocket are the only decent parts on it.

For that kinda cash you want sealed everything. I have found some really great bikes used, but this isn’t the one. Be patient & the right one will come along. The key to the used game is patience.
