Just bought a Pinarello F7 and it came with Most tubeless ready wheels. Just got the first tyre seated but there is air coming out of this hole, is this an issue with the tape?
Poor tubeless tape installation. The rims are not airtight from factory.

Rim Tape needs to be replaced. Some wheels come with a cloth or plastic rim strip installed from the factory for tubes. They usually add a roll of rim tape if the user wanted to set up tubeless. If it already has tubeless tape that is annoying and you will have to re tape.

A bad tape job will do this. Its always the tape.

Did you add sealant yet? Often the rubber stopper/bung in the tubeless valve creates an imperfect seal. Air that escapes past the valve into the rim cavity will evacuate via the path of least resistance, which is the drainage/pressure-relief hole in this case.

Tubeless ready doesn’t necessarily mean already setup for tubeless. It just means the CAN be setup for tubeless.
There’s a good chance your wheels came with rim tape, not tubeless tape. And if they did come with tubeless tape installed, it was done poorly. The only way air get into the rim and out that hole is if there’s a hole/leak in the rim tape.

Did you put your own tubeless tape down? If not it’s likely just a basic rim strip… If so, bad tape job

If you used a tire lever to install your tire (which should always be avoided with carbon rims), it’s possible that the lever punctured the rim tape.
Or just a faulty tape job.

Tape… that hole is there so that the rim doesn’t pressurize and explode when there’s a bad tape job – which there is.

Bad tape job. That hole is there to make sure you don’t blow up your rim.

Use actual rim tape and not gorilla.
