Not sure of the full build but my mechanic built it. 90s rock hopper 650b conversion. 3×7 microshift with sram grip shifts (that work really fucking well) campy seat post, VO stem and handle bars, LX cranks maxxis refuse tires, and I'll add more when I go look at it some later.

The bell is also a compass.

Oh, and internally routed dynamo with PDW e bike(DC) light.

I was more excited about it than her, but she loves it so she wants to ride with me more which is tight.

Been there. She said she doesn’t want another bike, nor need one. Drove it for appreciation, first. Drives it now nearly daily. Told me yesterday her old bike would be to stiff and she just drive it for heavy groceries.

I had some Sram grip shifts on a random bike that I bought. They were so smooth and I loved how easy it was to shift, and the short distance between gears on the grip.

I always hated generic grip shifts because it took so much twisting to shift to the next gear. The Srams were sweet…
