racing straight away a lot got caught out oscar only himself got caught out don’t forget as well he had to battle back and did an amazing job but Shiao Almeida [Music] not to be denied not for a second time almeida has been the master of his destiny once the wakeup call of stage one had been declared and from that moment on his team and he had to go all in at what cost well he’s got plenty of time to recover I guess ahead of the tour of France the show made that he’s stood up to the mark he’s taken two stage wins two second places as well he’s been absolutely brilliant it could be just an amazing three-stage wins talk about emphatic it doesn’t matter how you knock me down I’m coming back at you and that is amazing yet another enormous margin taken and Almeida has just won the tour of Switzerland surely there’s nothing that this man can do about it sure enough still to finish it’s going to be a while before he gets to do that but Kevin Vocalan the brave I think will have to seed the title to this man he went absolutely to depths that only professional cyclists and the very best of those as well can reach and it looks like he’s done it brian yeah the the time of 233 is gone now is getting near the 3 minutes mark and he hasn’t come to that point where the uh the the the team cars have so unfortunately for Vulan he’s fought ever so brightly the whole way but you know the candle’s just gone out see you can see the team cars just gone up there it’s now counting 313 so he’s lost 30 seconds now in the general classification and it looks as if he’s going to lose even more so I think by the time he he crosses that point where the team cars are he’s lost a minute there he is well just under a minute 54 seconds he’s lost in this time track needed to keep it under 33 but unless he’s got some sort of motorcycle in that bike he has lost the uh the tour to Swiss but his fight now is to stay in second place let’s see uh because even that I guess uh ultimately if there is any capitulation would indeed have a cost here’s Julian Phipe it’s been wonderful to see this this man backed approaching his best uh getting towards the autumn of his career but clearly some great displays still to be had there he is Mr cherry Blossom absolutely fantastic he brings that cherry red tuda helmet to the line and the blossoming of his career the reblossoming is absolutely confirmed here at the tour of Switzerland he’s looked to be in a happy place and when Alma Phillips’s happy the world of cycling is he’s a great showman and has been brilliant circulating still almeida and he will be realizing what he has achieved here victory in the tour of Switzerland surely no way back for Kevin Bland has been a great battler throughout though and with 400 meters to go rather cruy no rolling clock upon him just for now as the chair lifts show off the easy way down this mountain he’s had to come up it it’s been a trial for him Brian he passed most of the tests but just not this last one yeah just came a little bit short um just like Gregoire coming a little bit short here um you know you have to say what a valiant effort it has been um it’s not over yet he has to get to the finish within uh 2 minutes and 20 seconds to hold on to second place of course in reflection he’ll take that all day long but this could have been you know one of the the biggest days of his career so with 200 meters to go Jia made up well he’s got this one quite easily in the end vland is going to be in second place with the Scots oscar Only Brookl fourth from the day as it stands at the moment but more than that second overall he would have relished the victory it would have been the biggest result of his career shameu missed out last year so we’ll know exactly what this feels like how many times have we said that after the jural Ameda crosses the line minute and 40 goodness me down on Sha Almeida he had a cushion of 33 seconds goodness me he needed probably a hammock of 2 minutes if he
