Just got back from a two-day trip in South Central Wisconsin. I ran across this bike route sign south of Portage but don’t know what it represents and I can’t find any published routes that reference it.

It’s a bike route sign. It looks like it’s a newish sign.
Probably just State bike routes. They have them in Michigan too. Information is usually on the DOT issued bicycle maps.

As a side note, it’s cool as heck when states do state wide bicycle maps like that. I have a set from a couple of states, I just wish this information was radially available from all 50.
Look on the county website for bike routes..
I find google maps will put me on routes that are locally designated bike paths like this. It would be nice for DOT to give you more to go on though.
