Ive been spending hours trying to set up my derailleur, but for the life of me I can not understand whats wrong with it. Im starting to suspect the hanger, but it looks perfect to me.
Finally a straight hanger is essential for best rear derailleur perfomance. This is especially true with 11 and 12 gear drivetrain. A “cheap” knockoff hanger alignment gauge found on Amazon is perfectly fine don’t spoil with a brand name tool like Park tool for occasional home use. When aligning the hanger take your time. It’s finesse thing.

It looks a bit bend inward. For a quick fix until you get it straight you can turn the H limit a bit so the derailleur moves slightly outwards.

You just need to get it realign, you can buy a tool for the job from the likes of Park tools or other brands
Or take it to your local Cycle shop.
It is not a big job to realign it with the correct tool as long as you do not snap it off. But that would take some major force , and this is not that out of alignment. I have seen new bikes that need the realignment and there are lots of videos on YouTube showing you how to set up such tools and how to re true your gear hanger so it functions perfectly again.

If it’s slightly bent it’s really difficult to determine just by looking at it.
