I cycled across Germany for mental health and to enjoy the beauty of the Euro 2024 football tournament. Along the way I raised money for those affected by depression, self-injury, addiction and suicide. This ride is part of my project called, “A Connection Story,” which is about creating beauty through courage, hope, and connection.

all right it’s day three beginning of day three just getting started it’s about 9:00 um have to be hit by that van um Sun’s shining a little bit uh so it’s a good start to the day um I’m leaving Hut and I am on my way to hurg and then beyond um and uh along the El Ela River so today I’ll be going through hurg um it’s a beautiful day out here um I just said goodbye to Nils and frala who were my hosts um I did the warm showers hosting thing last night stayed with a nice young German couple um had a had quite a windy rainy cold day yesterday but it was still a great day on the bike um and today will be a little bit of a lighter day not as many miles and uh yeah looking forward to going to the big city and then beond on the river and uh here we go day three [Music]
