I used to carry velcro straps with me on tour, basically to strap the tire as I put it on. It was the only way I figured I could and even then it was super difficult. Never had a puncture on them but swapped to continental contact urbans just for the ease of it. That wire bead is insanely tough.

Conti Urban have been fantastic for me..id say the best upgrade I’ve done, though to be fair my others are almost all cosmetic.
