[Music] เฮ [Music] Hello from Denmark, Ferdinand here. I took my bike and rode north. About 40 minutes away from Copenhagen. Today I have the hammock with me, which I’ve shown in various videos, now in the info box, and we want to set that up now. I’ve chosen a spot right on the beach where there’s just a steep slope. That means I needed a hammock. There were some trees there that were rather thin, but I’ve tested a few and found two good ones. For all of you who don’t know what to do with the Haven Tent, basically the Haven Tent is a hammock from the Haven brand. And I have the Safari model here, which is basically the Haven Safari. And the idea is that with these two poles that I’m inserting here, the hammock is 100% straight when you’re lying in it. That means you ‘re not lying in it like you’re in a banana, but more like you’re lying on the floor. And it really works. I’ve tested it several times now and I’m very impressed. And to make it stay put in the rain, you put a tab over the top, which I’m only using for this trip. If necessary, I attached it but didn’t hook it on the sides. If you’re out and about in really windy and rainy weather or even in the snow, you can definitely hook it on the sides and then it functions like a real tent . [Music] [Music] In addition to the two poles in the handle that hold the walls apart, there’s now a special insulating mat that has vertical air chambers and therefore offers additional stability, thus ensuring that you’re 100% horizontal. [Music] [Music] This insulating mat is now pushed into the individual corner attachment points and then I noticed that I’d put too much air in. That means I still have to let a little more air out and then the handle is finished. [Music] [ Music] [Music] [Music] I bought this whetstone for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, it didn’t say whether it was a water whetstone or not. I’ve tried it with water for the first time now. I soaked it beforehand and now sprinkled it with water. Please let me know in the comments if it’s a water whetstone or how you can find out something like that. can [Music] [Music] [Music] What I always have with me is of course my cooking set. Then I have my French press. Besides my axe, I always have a large saw with me. I’m really convinced that I’ll finally have a professional saw so I can make real progress and saw through larger branches. I also have an emergency water filter with me, even though I ‘m obviously near salt water. Nevertheless, in the hinterland you can see. And last but not least, I always have a bit of tea and coffee with me. Now there was this incredibly steep mountain. It doesn’t look like it on the camera, but it was never easy to get up there. Uh, in any case, there was dry wood at the top, which means for me it went up. I cut off some things and then fell or went down again, let’s call it that. [Music] after I sank the axe in my hand on the last trip and then had to cut off the trip. From now on, I’ll always wear cut-resistant gloves when working with an axe. I do have a fire starter with me like usual. In plain English, for me that’s straw soaked in wax. Um, two natural products that really help me with my fire. to light And yet I like to use the idea of using tree bark because the fire starts a little bit faster and I might need fewer or no firelighters at all. Yes [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] It’s actually a little bit hard to see because I’m filming with a wide-angle lens But if you look closely you’ll see me swimming back there [Music] For me there are noodles tonight But I forgot my spoon and also a Fork and also my carving knife That means I’m going to take the axe and use the axe to make two sticks out of one stick, which I’m going to use to eat my noodles. Yes [Music] [Music] [ Music] [ Music] [Music] If you’ve been following my camping trips for a while, you’ll know exactly that I have a large pot or a large mug of herbal tea every evening. I learned that from my father and I have it every evening when I’m out and about. This is what the Haven Safari looks like from the inside and now it’s time to close my eyes. The night was cold, I had a sleeping bag that was too thin. I was surprised by the relatively cool temperatures at night, but now it’s a new morning and now it’s time to make some coffee. [Music] [ Music ] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Now all of our things have been packed up again. I met two more people and one from Austria who is currently driving from Austria up to the Nordcup. We’ve just packed everything up here. The Haven is also packed up. The two trees are standing there all by themselves again and I’ll definitely visit this spot again. This is a Really nice spot. On the left there’s a shelter you can rent, and otherwise you can bring your own tent. It’s great that you were there again. See you next time. [Music] [Music] [Music]
