Not Quite New Bike Day, but I thought I'd show it off anyway.

I got it back in februrary, but the intervening months has been about riding and fitting it out to cover the stupid needs of my body. Bikefit, changing all the bits and so on. But finally my knee problems has (seemingly) been eliminated. I did a back to back 140km ride (overnighter at the pictured pretty place) without issues. Well, some issues, but none were my knees, and most could be solved with more breaks or sunscreen.

For those who wonder at the "ersatz" moniker, this bike started off as a flat bar Tripeca, but that model actually uses the same TT frame as the dropbar Scrambler. The conversion was pretty pricy, but mostly covered by the good deal I got so the dealer could get rid of older stock.

One downside is that I can never go back to cheaper IGH's, having actual low gears is just too good. And I hate chains with a passion.
