Years of running tubeless and I’ve finally had my first blow out, thankfully before I even made it out the door.

I know there was a recall on the 28’s, but has anyone heard anything similar on 30’s? – 17/23 LDC

77psi on DT ARC 1400 (hooked/20mm IW)

I wouldn’t have even thought it was possible considering how much fun it was to get these on.

77psi is definitely more than I’d run on this system (I’m usually 60-65 on road tubeless) but shouldn’t be enough to cause this from the pressure alone.

  2. 77psi on 30mm tire?
    are you sure on this?
even on tpu tube i only run like 66-70psi on tire balooned to 30mm (im 68kg)

Surprising to see a blow out with those rims. As you said they’re really hard to get tyres on. I have the same rims and it’s horrible to get tyres on and off them. The pressure you were running doesn’t seem crazy either. I’d contact Pirelli to see if it’s a known issue with these as well.
