I hit a bump yesterday and heard a sharp crack from the front wheel. First thoughts were that I had snapped a spoke but I stopped and checked them all. Finding nothing wrong I headed off to a different noise from the motor. At first it was intermittent, a slightly “wizzy” sound every few seconds but after a couple of miles that sound remained constant whilst pedalling and I had lost drive. I don’t know what is inside but is there some sort of clutch that engages when the power comes in or is that motor constantly engaged and turning with the wheel? It feels like the motor is spinning but not engaging. I dropped it off at my local Brompton dealer yesterday afternoon and I am waiting for them to plug in their diagnostics but they did mention that Brompton don’t like them opening up the motors. So this sounds like a replacement front wheel and motor from Brompton and I bet that won’t be cheap. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has suffered a similar problem. Looks like I am back on my T only for a bit.

Can’t help with the motor issue, but I love your T. Enjoy the swap out.
Brompton can’t open the motors or any of the electrical parts they designed them to be swapped out and replaced Which personally from an e-waste perspective really bothers me. Hope you get the bike back soon OP.
There’s a guy who can do Brompton motor bearings, he’s either on here or WhatsApp
If it’s a P Line Electric, introduced mid 2022, shouldn’t this be covered under the 3 year warranty on the electric system?
