Either smaller mat or let it hang off the back of the back bag a bit.

  2. I always cut a significant amount off the width and several sections in length off those mats. You don’t need the full size and it’s so much easier to pack.

  3. I’d strap the mat to the top of the rack and find a pannier for the sleeping bag.

  4. Cut two or three sections off, fold open one time so it’s wider and shorter, and place between dry bag and rear rack

  5. Does it fit under the sleeping bag and the saddle? Then strap the sleeping bag over it. A bit shifted to the back though to leave some space.

Where the sleeping bag is, and then put the sleeping bag on top, and tie them down together?

  7. Just move it back, It’s light so packing it at the top is fine, it’s stiff so letting it hang over the back is fine. Two elastic cords and you are done. ( if you choke the matt ( wrap around ) with the elastic it will not “roll off” )

    Good luck !

I keep mine on an anything cage on the fork

Edit: oh sorry didn’t register what type of mat you’ve got, I use an inflatable
