They can actually be ridden legally but only on private land that is owned by the rider or on private land that the rider has written permission from the landowner to ride on.
Illegal on pavements and public space etc NOT banned. If you only use it on your land thats fine and shops dont care… as long as they tell you its not their job to make sure you obey the rules

For some reason your allowed to buy them but yyou have to ride them in private areas or the police will take them if they see you ride it ine paths it’s as terrible rule
