  1. You know society is failing when people think scooters are a viable source of transportation. We're not 6 anymore, and if you stayed a scooter kid I feel really, really bad for you, you poor virgin soul.

  2. It’s a mobility scooter that’s technically what it is but the police are creating a problem where there isn’t one no wonder we’re are running out of prison spaces there are too many innocent people locked up

  3. They can actually be ridden legally but only on private land that is owned by the rider or on private land that the rider has written permission from the landowner to ride on.

  4. Illegal on pavements and public space etc NOT banned. If you only use it on your land thats fine and shops dont care… as long as they tell you its not their job to make sure you obey the rules

  5. Most people are uneducated if you go on the met website there is no punishment or enforcement for using them on the road cos you end up with bellends using mobility scooters in the road which is just stupid, the uk government also make rentable e scooters and e bikes so basically it's just angry Karen's and cops on power trips thinking they know the law, but yes it's a £50 fine for use on pavement

  6. "Erm actually, you're allowed to sell and buy electric scooters, but you can only use them on private land with the land owners permission. Also, you can't get arrested, but you can get the scooter seized" 🤓

  7. If you live in a city, where they hire them, get yourself, your favourite scooter, and decorate it to look like a hireable one, you will be left alone, you’re welcome

  8. Not legal because the government hasn’t implemented a way of making money from them yet. They can’t have us common people getting to work cheaply now can they, they want their cut.

  9. For some reason your allowed to buy them but yyou have to ride them in private areas or the police will take them if they see you ride it ine paths it’s as terrible rule

  10. They don’t care they just take the scooter of you eventually if they catch you so you get another one and the cycle continues or they don’t bother

  11. They must be for the rich who can afford the fines probably can't see why else he's right why sell them go green they say it's car companies loosing money I should imagine
