I realize this isn’t bikepacking-specific, but I’m hoping to tap into the cherished crowd wisdom here. I’m looking for a light-duty, flat, front rack compatible with 20 x 2 tires, and mid-blade fork mounts for an Evelo Dash folding e-bike. It also has a bolt-in (not -through) fork crown mount and small eyelets near the dropouts.
I expect to keep the load under 15 lbs, maybe strap a Wald 137 on it, but I prefer a rack that mounts to the fork rather than the bars. Preferably not for panniers, but I won’t rule it out.
I’m thinking maybe a Nitto rack, but haven’t seen one that says it works with 20″. Maybe the M18 https://analogcycles.com/products/nitto-m-18-front-rack if cut struts to fit?
I’m aware of the bikepacking.com list, but hoping for some firsthand experience.
