    Get off yer ass! πŸ˜‰

Try standing more and absorb the trails with arms and legs.

Good stuff for a beginner! huge protip: keep your pedals LEVEL. Parallel with the ground! a guaranteed way to catch a rock and get thrown off your bike is by riding with one pedal down. you’re killin it tho! keep it up

    Welcome to the club buddy

Brake before your turn to increase speed. braking during will make you feel less stable.

Good job! You might find more stability going over the rough stuff standing with both pedals in the middle instead of one up one down. πŸ‘

You’re going to get hurt riding like that, get your pedals level and stand up or you are going to clip something and eat shitΒ

  6. Good job. You will get better as you ride more trails. I am a beginner myself and try hard to keep the pedals level with the ground, not sitting down and letting my legs and arms act as additional shocks. I watch β€œLee Likes Bikes” and β€œJoy of Bike” to learn tips and tricks. One thing I found helpful was shorting the handlebar from 780mm to 725mm.

  7. Yes, stand and level your feet out. When you stand your knees act as suspension

I’m right there with you! Literally like 3 rides in right now and I’m embarrassed by how cautious I am when it comes to even moderately steep descents.

Honestly you look way more confident than me. Having a blast though, so who cares right lol
