What pressure in your tyres and tubed or tubeless?

IMO some of the best gravel riding out there has to be the Oregon coast range – when the weather is good. There’s enough moisture and car/truck traffic that the roads get compacted. Some of them are glass smooth at the right time of year.
Here in Bend and the surrounding area, there is a lot of dust and washboard and sand and chunky-ass rocks. It’s good, but not 10/10. That said, it’s also *dry* and sunny which is a lot nicer than being rained on all the time on the other side of the mountains!

I watched this a few times to play “spot the good line” but those washboards look full road width. I haven’t seen anything like that around here.

Have you ever looked at a suspension stem from Cane Creek or someone like? That Esilk stem is a game changer for washboard etc and

This is exactly the time when I praise my double Redshift setup. Such an annoying frequency of bumps.

Think a Lauf fork would help?

What size tires are you using? My 650×47 Switchback Hills slurp that stuff up pretty well.
