Hi all! Just received my new Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2. After building it up I noticed brake rub. Just the usual tweak in the caliper I guessed, but no. When looking closely at the wheel spinning and the disc running through the caliper it looks like the disc itself is wobbly. The picture shows the state of it rubbing. The rest of the disc is straight in the middle. Is this a known issue? Anyway to fix it or just contact Canyon?
Another question: is this safe to ride or will it wear the disc + pads out in a way you don’t want?

It can happen. Easy to straighten, just using pliers or similar tool to bend it back. Check park tool youtube channel for the video instructions if in doubt. Safe to ride, yes. Will wear the disc unevenly, yes, a little bit. No problem for a few rides, it’s more the drag and annoying sound.
Mine came bent as well
Mine need tweaking aswell out of the box. Bear in mind people have had to touch the rotars to install and ship the bike. No big issue, get this tool to bend it back slightly. This.also has useful brake pad gap regulator.

All discs, even aftermarket ones, tend to need a small amount of straightening out of the box. You don’t even need pliers, just your hands, a paper towel (to keep the rotor surface from getting contaminated, and 5 minutes.
