I put new tires on my Cube Cross Race Pro 2021 today. According to Cube, the tire clearance for the 2022 model with the aluminum frame is 43 mm. I bought the Thunderos 44c from Tufo. I can still fit a 4 mm hex key in most places without any problems. Interestingly, there is significantly more space on one side of the front fork than on the other (>4 mm vs 3 mm).
I usually only ride in good weather and mostly on small to medium gravel. So this clearance should be fine. However, I kinda regret not buying the 40c or the Speederos, which have smaller knobs on the edges.
