Currently recovering from the wounds i've got from bike accident 3 days ago, i just checked the bike and there is no concerning damages except for paint chips and i just noticed a dent on my non-drive side near the bb shell. Is this safe?

It’s steel? it’s fine.
Why is your non-drive BB unthreaded?
Yeah the frame is fine. That’s one of the strongest areas of the whole frame, and the dent is so close to the BB shell. It’s totally fine. Maybe check on it every once in a while (like every couple months), take a picture each time, and compare with the last photos. If you see any cracks propagating or weird bulges (water sometimes collects here and can freeze if you commute through the winter), the get it checked out at a shop.
Wishing you a speedy recovery! Hopefully it’s just superficial, but I know as well as anyone that it still hurts. Cheers.
I’d be more worried about that BB
I worked with a lad about 15 years ago that was into downhill mountain biking. When he got a crack in the frame he would drill the ends of the crack, then open up the crack and fill with epoxy. It was the stuff of nightmares to look at. This is fine.
