Hey! First time posting here, and hope someone can help me!

I’m trying to get my grandfathers old roadbike running and I stripped the frame and parts, removed rust and deep cleaned everything. I changed rimtape, tubes, tyres, chain, brakehandles, brakepads bartape, seatpost, seat, all cables and housing.
BUT! Both the bottom bracket and the cassette (or whatever (i’m not that good with bikes)) makes funny noises and I could not get them of with the tools I have here (to clean or replace them). So anyone know what tools to get for these two things?
If anyone have any tips or know anything about this bike that would be fantastic!
As a small business owner my grandfather bought 15 of these in the 70’s for himself and his workers when they wanted to start cycling together and this is the one he had. So it would mean a great deal for me to get this running as a clock like it used to!
