Lexie’s London Locations – Barnes

Bringing back these London Locations as I’m always asked about different areas of the City and there are lots of hidden gems!

This is Barnes in South West London. It’s kept that gorgeous village feel with the likes of the duck pond and a highstreet full of independent cafes and boutiques.

Very much a family area with great schools and family homes. It’s very green as well, you’ve got lots of sports fields, the wetlands centre, the common and the green around the duck pond where there’s often a market on a Saturday.

There are 2 national rail stations in the area, both in zone 3 and both taking you straight to Waterloo.

The riverside is home to the final stretch of the boat race as well as some of London’s oldest riverside homes on The Terrace.

Some of my favourite places here include Orange Pekoe for tea, The WOS for shopping and Alma for brunch.

More London Locations coming soon!
