After greasing and some timer for the leather to soak in the grease you can polish your saddle with an old cloth 😊

There is nothing structurally wrong that I can see. Is the leather cracked anywhere? I might use some proofide for the leather, wiping off the top but leaving it on the underside. You could probably buff up the rivets and the underside frame, if you do you should put some proofide on the metal or some sort of oil to protect it as the chrome is wearing off to rust. Get a saddle cover or use a plastic bag to protect it from water.

Maybe some chrome polish to knock down the underside rusty spots. That’s about it.

Just give it a slap with some good old leather creame and you’re good to go

I’ve had good results with Evaporust on most metal parts.
Looks fine. Amazing for a 70s 80s piece.
