Another shoe I wanted to like but was surprised not to.

I have the Fizik Infinito Knit 2 in size 44.5 so was expecting the Stabilita to fit similarly but with more arch support. How wrong I was! These have much more volume from the middle of the arch down to the toes. A huge amount of toe and foot movement is possible.
To fit snugly, the boas need to be tightly cinched, leading to slight ‘folding’ in the upper.
I felt I could just about have put up with this but the lower boa could be felt slightly and I feared a hotspot. The lower boa on these is slightly lower than on the Infinitos.
Obvious observation is that I could possibly have used a smaller size but suspect this would have reduced length without significantly reducing volume.
Other than fit, it’s a decent-looking shoe but the Infinito does somehow feel more premium and fits (me) like a glove.
