Drop battery. You might be able to see where the cable runs
Some kite string and a vacuum cleaner?
I typically use a magnetic internal wiring kit that is available from many online retailers to pull hoses and cables through a bike frame internally.
Take out battery and motor. Will save you time and will to live.
