I just bought a commuter mid step for my wife and I followed instructions carefully but I find myself having issues with the wheels not spinning freely as the disc brakes touch. I have tried to put front wheel on many times, and can improve it, but not perfect. Back wheel was already on and here I believe the issue is as well albeit smaller.
I did not touch brakes before mounting front wheel, and i have not touched the brakes is I read they should fit by themselves.
Any tips?

Loosen the caliper, then squeeze and hold the brake, then tighten the caliper back down.
Loosen the screws holding the brake to the frame a little (NOT the screws making fluid spill everywhere). Then while holding the brake lever in so that it grips the disc (might need another person or tie it down), tighten the screws again. This aligns the brake with the disk.
But some small rubbing will fix itself as the pads wear down as well. Does it spin but just rubs a bit, or does it actually prevent you from spinning?
