Got the Shimano XTR M9250 Di2 for my 2023 TREK Supercaliber 9.8 XT Gen 1 because I just wanted Di2 in all my bikes. I already have Ultegra Di2 in my Domane SL7 Gen 4 and Madone SL7 Gen 8. I had a 12 miles test drive today day and all I can say is that I really hope Shimano next gen Ultegra and Dura Ace Di2 is as smooth as the new XTR M9250 Di2. I love Ultegra Di2 and that’s why I got Di2 for my MTB, but XTR Di2 is just in another level. It’s crazy fast and smooth as butter. The setup was literally plug and play. Very little adjustments other than the B-Screw and H and L limits. I changed the cranks from M8100 to M8120 to get a 55mm chain line as per Shimano recommendations and also changed the stock UDH with a Wolf Tooth UDH because a couple of reviewers mentioned having issues with their SRAM UDHs and replacing it with a Wolf Tooth or Wheels Manufacturing UDH, solved all the minor shifting issues they had. I do really recommend this upgrade if you are looking for ultra fast and reliable shifting or if just like me, are used to electronic shifting.
